For the third year in a row, the VHMPA movie event fell on a cold and rainy Saturday morning. As such, we had a fantastic turnout with at least 100 VHMPA moms, dads and kids in attendance. Before the movie began, members had a chance to grab some munchies and socialize with their neighbors. Everyone enjoyed the showing of “The Lorax” and given that most of the audience were kids, many of which are under the age of 5, the theater was amazingly quiet. During the event, our members donated over 100 used children’s books to be given to the Grant Park Clinic. The Grant Park Clinic provides prenatal and primary care to anyone not having insurance. The books will be given to needy families during their visits.
